DScE is collecting fund for responding to Corona Pandemic in Bangladesh

News

Dhaka School of Economics (DScE), a constituent institution of Dhaka University is responding to the poor class, the homeless and the deprived urban population of Dhaka city in the face of countrywide lockdown in Bangladesh.

Bangladesh, the world’s 8th most populous country declared a lockdown up to 9th April due to exposure to the coronavirus pandemic; and therefore, the poor income population of the country lost their earning opportunities and becomes vulnerable to starvation.

Though the government declared sanctions for the poor, it seems insufficient as a massive hue and cry were noticed during relief distributions in Dhaka yesterday.

Therefore, many NGOs, activists, and educational institutions like Dhaka School of Economics are coming forward to respond to the crisis.
